Papier d’Arménie has been perfuming homes since 1885 with its signature fragranced paper booklets. Each strip can be folded and lit to release a slow, incense-like aroma that gently refreshes a room. The Tradition scent is the original blend, built around benzoin resin with soft notes of vanilla and balsam for a warm, comforting fragrance. Burn a strip to clear lingering odors, or place one unlit in drawers and cupboards to subtly scent linens over time.

Brand Description

Papier d’Arménie has been making its distinctive incense paper in France since 1885, when Auguste Ponsot was inspired by the traditional use of benzoin resin during a journey to Armenia. He brought the idea home to Paris, developing a fragranced paper designed to perfume the home and neutralize unwanted odors. More than a century later, the small paper booklets remain a familiar part of French homes, valued for their distinctive fragrance and simple method of use.
