In collaboration with Nutscene, the heritage Scottish makers of traditional garden twine, we've created a custom tin to house one of our most beloved and hardworking garden staples. For our collection, we thought back to their original naming, a play on “not seen” as their first twine was a green color that blended perfectly when tied around plant stems and foliage. We loved this bit of history and chose a color palette that feels naturally at home in the garden landscape: Bark, Evergreen, Olive, and Classic Jute.

Spun in the Dundee region of Scotland on original 1920s machinery, each spool draws from the center—ensuring tidy use with no tangles or waste. Made from biodegradable jute, it’s a natural choice for those who garden with care for the earth. Soft enough for tender stems yet strong enough for supporting climbing plants, marking rows, and bundling the season's harvest, it is a simple tool with seemingly endless uses.

Each spool is housed in a reusable tin designed exclusively for Gardenheir, a practical and handsome addition to the potting bench.
