Designed for harvesting herbs from the garden and chopping them in the kitchen, the Tucana sickle features a finely sharpened blade with cutting edges on both the inner and outer curve. This dual-edged design allows herbs to be cut cleanly on the inside and also chopped on the outside blade, all with one tool. Formed from a bronze alloy rich in copper, it combines the natural benefits of copper with the strength and durability of bronze.

Copper-rich tools are valued in the garden for their natural resistance to rust and low-friction surface, which helps prevent soil (whether sticky clay or sandy loam) from clinging to the metal. Over time, they may also contribute trace elements that support healthy soil biology.

Finished with an oiled ash wood handle, the Tucana is well-balanced in the hand, and easily sharpened like a knife—a very useful tool for the kitchen garden.

Orders ship from our warehouse in upstate NY via UPS, FedEx, or USPS and usually leave our warehouse in 1–3 business days. If you need it sooner, expedited shipping is available at checkout.
