Like all French workwear, the best days are after a few washes. The cotton has softened, color has faded, and the fit has relaxed into your body. Inspired by our third year anniversary, and three years of wearing these classic chore jackets, we teamed up with Le Laboureur to create this only at Gardenheir patina by stone washing their classics for the lived in feel that could (before) only be found in vintage. The result: a perfect French chore jacket that looks and feels more like that vintage one your friend found at Marché aux Puces.

These French farm pants romantically conjure up images of agricultural work from another era. But nostalgia isn’t the only reason to be drawn to them.
A necessity in any garden wardrobe, the Le Laboureur farm pant will live up to any of your gardening demands. The 100% cotton drill is easy to wear casually, while still being as hard wearing as it is hard working. Simply constructed but with great details throughout that you’ll appreciate. The higher rise and “half balloon” leg make for a nice, relaxed fit, while maintaining a great range of motion. Features a button fly with traditional metal hook closure, ample pockets, and reinforced stitching.

This traditional silhouette is designed to sit at the natural waist. However, some prefer to wear them lower on the hips, giving a hip-slung fit.
Featuring a 29” inseam, on taller frames the pants will appear slightly cropped. Alternatively, when worn on the hips rather than at the natural waist, the perceived inseam length will be roughly 3-4” longer.
The higher rise allows for additional room through the seat, designed to provide comfort and ease of movement on the farm, in the garden, or around town.
