The Le Laboureur French Cotton Work Jacket, often referred to as the “chore coat”, is an iconic workwear garment. A staple at Great Dixter and other great gardens, the jacket was originally worn by agricultural and industrial workers and is now synonymous with functional style. Simply and practically designed, this work jacket is a great outerwear piece that is wide enough to layer but not too bulky on its own. The french cotton fabrication is as hard wearing as it is hard working. There are 3 external pockets and one internal breast pocket - useful for your wallet, gloves, phone, notebook or secateurs.
