Created for the 1889 Exposition Universelle in Paris, Rêve d’Or is one of L.T. Piver’s historic fragrances and was created in the same year the Eiffel Tower was completed. The fragrance was also notable for being among the first to incorporate aldehydes, introduced by perfumer Georges Darzens.

Rêve d’Or opens with aldehydes, pink pepper, and orange, followed by a floral and spicy heart of raspberry, rose, and saffron. Musk, cedar, and amber form a warm, enveloping base.

The fragrance has a rich, expansive character, balancing bright fruit and spice with soft florals and warm woods.

Made in France using ingredients sourced primarily from Grasse and Italy, it is matured for three to four months using L.T. Piver’s traditional drawer-maturation process.
