Inspired by the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, Pompeia is a rich floral-fruity fragrance created to evoke the atmosphere of the city at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. The fragrance draws on Pompeii’s history as a center of trade, where olive oil and botanicals such as rose, myrtle, and iris were cultivated and exported.

Mandarin and peach open the fragrance with a fresh, juicy character, followed by a floral heart of jasmine and saffron. Amber, patchouli, and osmanthus, with cedar, form a warm and softly woody base.

Developed by Jacques Rouché (at the time, director of both L.T. Piver and the Paris Opera) and perfumer George Darzens, Pompeia reflects the house’s long tradition of creating fragrances inspired by history and culture. 

Made in France with ingredients sourced primarily from Grasse and Italy.
