A rich, woody leather fragrance inspired by the legendary Russian leather of the 16th century. Traditionally tanned using bark baths and, according to legend, treated with birch tar to make it resistant to water, Russian leather became known for its distinctive smoky, woody character.

Cuir de Russie opens with mandarin and honey before developing into smoky oud and nutmeg. A deep base of leather, sandalwood, and incense gives the fragrance warmth, depth, and a distinctive leathery finish, with cardamom and patchouli adding further character.

Made in France using ingredients sourced primarily from Grasse and Italy, the fragrance is matured for three to four months using L.T. Piver’s traditional drawer maturation process.
