Each Garland Pot is handmade in Impruneta, Italy, a Tuscan town renowned for producing some of the finest terra cotta in the world. Made individually by a master artisan, each piece bears the subtle marks of its maker and the natural variations of the clay, giving it a character far removed from mass-produced pottery.

The sculptural garland of fruit and foliage that adorns the pot references the classic Della Robbia motif, associated with the celebrated Florentine Renaissance workshop of the della Robbia family. The garland gives the pot the character of a piece that might have long inhabited an Italian garden.
