Hand Forged Triangle 3" Hand Hoe
Hand Forged Triangle 3" Hand Hoe
Red Pig Tools
In stock
Inspired by a vintage hoe with a pyramid-shaped blade in the 1898 Peter Henderson & Co. "Catalog of Tools." It was described as a "Three Cornered" onion hoe and had a blade only three inches across the bottom. That's narrow, as most hand hoes are at least 4" wide.
With a gradual taper to a thin, sharp edge the tool is great for slicing weeds in the tight confines between closely spaced vegetables and amidst some tightly planted flowers.
About the maker : Hand forged in the Pacific Northwest in small batches by one of few remaining blacksmiths making these types of tools in the US, Red Pig Garden Tools. With a specialty in historical, often one-of-a-kind, tools that you will not find in other garden tool offerings, this collection is built to last.
