A traditional plaited jute rope made in England from natural fibers. Strong, flexible, and fully biodegradable, it is a useful cord to keep close at hand in the garden, greenhouse, or shed.

Use it for tying and training plants, securing garden supports, bundling branches and cuttings, tying up stakes, organizing tools, or other everyday jobs around the garden. The natural jute has a sturdy, textured feel and will eventually biodegrade, making it particularly useful for temporary supports and seasonal garden projects.

James Lever & Sons has been making rope and cordage in Bolton, England since 1856, when James Lever began twisting discarded cotton-mill yarns into sturdy ropes for the local textile industry. Now in its sixth generation of family ownership, the company continues to manufacture ropes, cords, and twines in Bolton, combining more than 170 years of cord-making experience with modern production. Throughout its history, the family has adapted its craft to changing needs, from Victorian mill ropes and traditional sash cords to clotheslines, garden twines, and utility ropes still made in Britain today.

Shipping Orders ship from our warehouse in upstate NY via UPS, FedEx, or USPS and usually leave our warehouse in 1–3 business days. If you need it sooner, expedited shipping is available at checkout.
