Apply a small amount of tonic to a clean, dry cloth—never directly to the wood. Wipe evenly over clean wood surfaces and allow the finish to absorb for 20–30 minutes. Buff away any excess with a clean, dry cloth. For best results, wipe once more after 24 hours to remove any remaining residue. Suitable for most wood furniture and woodwork; not recommended for modern high-gloss finishes.

For unfinished wood, multiple thin applications can be used to build a protective finish, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next.
