The Delphi Pot by Bergs Potter takes its form from the amphora, a vessel used for centuries to store and transport wine, oil, and grain. Its generous body and slender neck create a sculptural silhouette that feels at once historic and quietly modern.

The distinctive shape is also practical: the narrow opening slows the evaporation of moisture from the soil and limits the amount of rainwater that reaches the plant when placed outdoors. Designed by Pablo Dorigo and made from raw terracotta, each pot is paired with a matching saucer for use inside or out. Over time, the clay will develop a natural, lived-in patina unique to its surroundings.

The pot is offered in two shades of raw terracotta: warm Rosa and Grey.

Suggested Use

Brush or wash away dirt as needed and allow the pot to dry. While frost-resistant, the pot should be kept dry, sheltered, and well drained if left outdoors during winter.

Care Instructions

The terracotta pots will develop a natural patina that evolves beautifully over time — a sign of the pot’s natural material interacting with the plant.

The color changes are a result of salts and minerals from the soil and water percolating through the pores of the clay. This patina reflects the pot’s breathability and ability to absorb and release moisture, providing a healthy environment for roots to thrive. Many people cherish this look, as it captures the raw, timeless beauty of nature.
