This is the largest model in the Otter Messer secateur collection, therefore particularly suitable for large hands. Here, the opening diameter of the blade is larger than on the smaller models.

The locking clip at the end of the handle is such a convenient feature for quick use, even with gloves. And the clip can be folded inwards when working, which helps prevents the lock from locking accidentally. For fine adjustment of the blade clearance, an adjustable plate is located on the handle jaws. The shears are drop forged and carefully ground. The handle has a high visibility red plastic cover that aids in comfortable grip.
